“The Utah football program unveiled a throwback uniform Thursday, which will be worn for its homecoming game against California on Oct. 10. The Utes’ new threads, in partnership with Under Armour, incorporate various elements of Utah football uniforms from the past six decades. The interlocking UU on the back of the helmet is from the 1960s, the number font stems from the 1970s and the stripes on the jerseys and pants reemerge from the 1970s through 1990s.”
At College Vault we love a good throwback uniform! With alumni of many generations returning to campus, Homecoming is the perfect occasion to field a throwback uniform look. We love how the University of Utah brought in elements from several decades of uniforms into the design for one uniquely vintage look. Go Utes!
